The Esplanade has a kids water park, play ground, skate park, BBQ Areas all the way along with an information centre with walls of information from the movie “Australia” and Information on the “Catalina” Flying Boats from World War II.
Airlie Beach “the gateway to the islands” is a 50min drive south.
