The Hermitage Restaurant and Bar, our award winning, fully licensed a la carte restaurant located under the one roof here at The Hermitage, can cater for up to 120 guests and can be booked for weddings, cocktail parties, birthday celebrations, anniversaries, baby showers, farewells,business conferences and much more.
It is decorated in rustic sandstone, and polished blue gum, with luxurious lounge chairs located in the well-appointed spacious bar. We have a double fronted open fireplaces in winter and a relaxing country styled shady veranda in the warmer months for your comfort.

The restaurant offers an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication with a fine Australian cuisine and impeccable friendly service to all our guests. The Hermitage employs Chefs with fine dining backgrounds, creating quality innovative cuisine using international techniques and influences. John Nazim , the executive Chef changes the menu each season and sources quality fresh ingredients for the wonderful menu selection with most dietary requirements catered for.

The restaurant is open for dinner Monday to Saturday nights from 6pm and the Bar commences trading at 5pm for pre-dinner drinks. The Restaurant is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays; however Private Functions can be pre-booked and catered for on Sundays for groups of 25 or more. Please Note: The Restaurant has annual holidays from 26th December for three weeks and for one week over the Easter Holidays.

There is a selection of Room Service menus to choose from as well. These menus are located in the compendium folder in each room. The menus’ range from a Hunger Buster Light meal menu to an In-House Guest Special Menu and of course the a la carte menu is available for room service as well as a large selection of wine and other alcohol beverages.
